Amara's POV:

"I thought you two danced beautifully." Grandmother complimented to us which we turned around, looking at her as she got our attention

Where Grandma was holding two books in her arms, assuming that she was reading after tea

We smiled knowing that she only said that because we're her only granddaughters and that's all.

"Grandma. You had to say that." Alexa walked towards her with a knowing smile

"You're only saying that because we're your granddaughters," I added, smiling as I was also walking towards her

"You two shouldn't have to hide your talents dears," Grandma said as she walked to the nearby sofa as we went to sat down next to her

"What are you two afraid of?" Grandma asked us in concern

Alexa sighed as she sat on the floor before answering her question "Of other than an epic fail in front of everyone." Alexa frowned

"And you Amara?" Grandma asked me.

Which I also sighed. "Well, I also agree with Alexa on not totally embarrassing myself in front of the family and the people, but I just... I'm missing something.... but I don't know what" I explained

Grandma and Alexa grabbed my hands, giving me comforting smiles with reassurements

"Looks like you need to find your purpose dear," Grandma told me

"You think so, Grandma?" I asked her with an uncertain smile

"I believe so dear, but I do wish you two had come to tea. The princes of Hilgorvia are very nice and they're both of your ages." Grandma told me before she told us with booping on our noses

"Grandma, you and Mara know I don't do that stuff." Alexa told her, head shaking "Meeting people, giving speeches, going to balls."

"Plus with all the duties, lessons, and activities, I don't have time for that either." I added

"All those horrible things princesses are forced to do" Grandma said, her head looking forward, making a joke

Her joke made us laugh.

"Grandma..." Alexa started

"Princesses or not, you nor your sister can't run away from life forever," Grandma told us as we looked at her with uncertain expressions

"You or you Amara will never know what you two can do unless both of you try." Grandma gave us advice

Which we looked at Grandma with uncertain expressions until we watched her grab the books that were next to her on her side

Before she looks at us with the books in her hands "Here, I brought these down for you and your sister." Grandma told us

We look at the books in awe and in astonishment of the books which have leaves with doors with beautiful designs

Alexa was confused and so was I when both of us had read every book she owned

"But, me and Amara read all of your books, Grandma" Alexa stated with me nodding in agreement

"But not this one," Grandma said motioning to the books

Before Grandma continues. "I've been saving these for the right time."

We looked at her with smiles and were in awe, interested of the books when we watched Grandma open one of the books and started reading out aloud for us to listen to.
