In the echoes of midnight's silent sighs,
Whispers of sorrow linger, unbidden cries.
"Why shed these tears," the soul does plea,
As memories drift, lost in the sea.

Was there a pact in the moon's soft glow?
To keep all close, never to let go.
Yet fate's cruel hand, with its silent sway,
Snatched away treasures, in the dead of day.

Each tear that falls, a silent lament,
For what was promised, but never meant.
In the depths of longing, hearts do ache,
For the love that fled, in sorrow's wake.

Oh, how the stars weep, in the endless night,
For the dreams shattered, out of sight.
In the tapestry of time, where shadows play,
The echoes of loss, forever stray.

So, let the tears flow, like a gentle stream,
In the solace of sadness, let hearts redeem.
For in the depths of grief, we find our way,
To cherish the memories, that forever stay.
