Hiiii

Some of you might have come from my other book "Psycho" from the perspective of Bea/Beatrice.

This is that timeline except by "an ex" of Luke, Emma.

At the bottom of every chapter, it will tell you what to read in correlation to the other book.  That's just in case you want to read both at the same time, you can follow along easier.  I've been constantly editing that book to make it make sense.

I wrote Psycho first so I already knew what the main consensus of the characters were, but I'd be interested to know if someone read this first and that second, would it be different?

Title explained: I chose "Moving Along" after being about halfway done with the book.  I figured the song was written by Luke to Emma in his anger moments. It fits well with their situation. This book is rather about them "Moving Along" than their actual relationship.  It's more so the "post breakup".

Cover explained: the cover is how Luke has recently been seen in Emma's eyes: dark, cold, and foreign.

Emma's character explained: Emma was new to Westfield from a neighboring school. She was one of the popular girls. At her new school, she quickly forms friendships with the popular crowd.

She met sports-jock Luke her sophomore year of high school and developed feelings for him.  One of Luke's best friends, Chris, convinced her she was too insecure to make moves so he'd help her practice in order to become more comfortable.  It was okay though, because Luke didn't believe in dating.

Luke's denial to date only made Emma have more feelings towards Luke. She never said it, but she wanted to date him badly. For the longest time, she was convinced that he was only putting her off because he knew she liked that.

Throughout time, both Emma and Luke became jealous of each other solely because they never made it "official".

In junior year, Luke dated his friend, Jillian.
Emma could see Luke getting more depressed, and the Luke she once knew was slipping away. He couldn't resist the temptation of Emma even during his relationship.

There was something about the two of them that was just so right.
