"YOU GOT IT 'SQUERT'?" Charlie asked as handing the cement to Bert. She watched him struggle, but he nodded.
With Chris taking over, Charlie walked to join Hawk and Miguel. Hawk poured the cement and Miguel mixed it, while she hosed it down.
She glanced at Hawk and finally decided to ask, "So, how are things with Moon?"
Hawk looked at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh, we're good, really good. I think I'm gonna take her out tonight, actually." he responded, keeping a close eye on her, almost to see how she reacted.
"That's—that's nice," Charlie stammered, continuing to water down the cement. "You're lucky, Moon is really nice."
She stared into space, paying no attention to the wheelbarrow until Miguel yelled, "Woah, Charlie!"
She looked up to find the cement had basically became water. Charlie quickly turned off the hose, apologized, and walked away, with Hawk watching her.
It wasn't long until a massive cement truck arrived, and Johnny called them all over.
"You think winning the All Valley gives you the right to goof off? Well, i got News for you. Winning one championship don't mean squat. A true champion never stops training. You gotta keep moving forward or else you get stuck exactly where you are. It's like the cement in this truck. If that drum doesn't start turning, the cement inside will harden and get stuck. Is that what you want to happen to you?"
"No, sensei."
Charlie looked at the truck behind Johnny and then at Kreese, who wore a smirk on his face. She knew exactly what Johnny had in mind, and she shook her head. "No way."
"Climb up, get inside, and make it spin," Johnny pointed behind him, and the teenagers exchanged uncertain glances, wondering if he was joking.
"Ssensei, we're sorry for messing around," Aisha pleaded, and Hawk chimed in, "We've learned our lesson."
Johnny ignored their apologies and opened the truck's door. "Get in!"
"Sensei, this seems kind of dangerous. I mean, the fumes alone..." Miguel began, but Kreese interrupted him.
"Quiet!" Kreese leaned off the truck and approached them. "this man led you to the mountain top, and you question him? Look at you, look at all of you. I can't believe this pathetic pack of pussies completed in the all valley, and let alone won. It's an absolute miracle. And who's responsible for that miracle? Johnny Lawrence. The best student in the history of cobra Kai. My student."
Hawk raised his eyebrows, "You were Sensei's sensei?"
"You better believe it, kid. And I tell you I've never trained a tougher student in my whole life." Kreese boasted.
