She grabbed her dagger, grasping it tightly. She felt a sharp pang in her chest as she approached her. Amara knew that she wasn't supposed to, It wasn't supposed to be her.
'Ah, it is just you,' the Queen spoke "I honestly thought you had given up-- '
She turned to her and grinned '-- like you always do.'
'I won't, not this time.' Amara took a deep breath and took another step.
'The story you told me--' still grasping the dagger, waiting for the right moment. '-- was it a lie? just like all the words that ever came out of your mouth.'
She expected an answer from Amalia. But all she ever received was a glance and--
'GUARDS--' Amalia shouted pointing her finger at her. 'I had never lied to you-'
Amara fastened her pace, her heart still pacing, breathing heavily. About to jump towards Amalia 'We both know you have.'
'I always have told you the truth,' knowing what Amara wanted to do, 'It might not be the truth for everyone else,'
'YOU KILLED HER!' tears falling down her face as she started running towards her. 'YOU KILLED HER' Her eyesight started to get blurry from the tears. Amara quickly grabbed Amalia by the collar and pushed the dagger against her throat.
'I am pretty sure--' she choked '-- you were the one who murdered her.' As she struggled to breathe.0
A hard thud could be heard, Doors opened. Guards rushed to grab Amara away from the Queen.
'What do you mean,' She screamed as she struggled against the guards.
'You know,' Amalia said out of breath, 'It was your plan-' she explained.
Struggled for air, Amara was confused. 'What plan?' she felt her throat close, she couldn't speak 'What plan' repeated in her head. and as the guards took her outside.
