For Thousands of years, the Targaryen Dinasty had ruled over Westeros with firey fists. Keeping the people of Westeros alive and at peace. Thousands of generations of the Targaryen Dinasty sat on the Iron Throne, which was said to be made of a thousand molten swords of Aegon The Conqueror's enemies. Molten together by Dragonfire of the Powerful Balerion the Black Dread.
Time went by and King Aerys Targaryen II, came to the throne. He birthed three children: Rhaegar Targaryen, Viserys Targaryen III and Daenerys Targaryen. After some time, the king went mad and was ultimately defeated and stabbed in the back by Ser Jaime Lannister after a rebellion lead by Robert Baratheon, Eddard Stark, Jon Arryn and Arthur Pembroke.
Robert Baratheon became the King and Ruler of the Seven kingdoms and was ultimately married to Lady Cersei Lannister, only daughter of Lord Tywin Lannister. Eddard Stark returned to the North alongside Arthur Pembroke, both ruling half of the North as Lords of Winterfell and Backton Hold, Eddard married Catelyn Tully and had six legitimate children and one bastard son; as for Arthur, he married Amalie Tyrell and had twins, a boy and a girl, losing his wife at birth. As for Jon Arryn, he married Lysa Tully and had one single son, he then left the Eyrie and headed to King's Landing, to become Hand of the King.
Winter was indeed coming, and with it the upcoming reunion between Lord Eddard Stark, Lord Arthur Pembroke and King Robert Baratheon after the sudden death of Lord Hand Jon Arryn, their brother in arms on the rebellion against the Mad King.
Annora Pembroke sat on her and her twin brother's shared bedroom, she was staring at her brother's training wood sword as she made her hardest efforts not to take it and start training herself. She knew that training the sword was not "ladylike" and "n¡'ot for girls" as Ser Sandor Clegane "The Hound", her and her brother's sworn and loyal protector, constantly reminded her by her father's commands. She angrily paced around her room, waiting for her brother to return from the Kitchen, as he'd gone to steal some muffins for both to eat.
-Something troubles you-the soft voice of the ten year old boy was heard across their spacious bedroom
-I want a sword... It is not fair that you can have one and I cannot. Just because Ser Hound says it's not "ladylike"-the little girl frowned as her brother approached with the stolen goods
-What if I train you? I can fend myself pretty well with the sword-her brother smiled at her, remains of the sweet bread could be seen stuck on his teeth-or you'd rather be trained by Braaaaaaaandon Staaaaaaark?-he said teasing his sister.
The Pembrokes and the Starks had been close since even before the rebellion, so their houses had been pretty close to each other. Brandon and Arya Stark were the closest to the age of the twins, with Brandon and the twins being ten years old and Arya only one year older. Cassian enjoyed teasing his sister, since he'd notice a small crush she was developing towards the young wolf.
-Stop it, twat-Annora said while aggressively taking the remaining bread from her brother's hands, to which he responded
-Hey! I stole that for me, not for you!
-Deal with it skunk-she said while stuffing the whole loaf of sweet bread on her mouth
The siblings cackled and ate the bread cheerfully. It was a cold day, and seeing the snow starting to fall, made the siblings decide to go play outside. Ser Sandor Clegane walked behind the two of them while they made their way outside. He looked at the children with a soft smile on his face, the gruff knight's only soft spot were those two bundles of joy, and he ought to protect them by his own will, he said softly as he watched the lights of his eyes exiting through the Castle's door
-Just be careful you two... I don't want to have to pick up any corpses
The children nodded absentmindedly as they ran towards the forest, laughing and chasing each other. Sandor observed the children from the door with a soft smile, he appeared lost in his thoughts until a soft voice took him out of the trance
