2.Cooking in the kitchen

Welcome back to another episode of dandy's world! It's now time to start part 2 of A chance?..
Now let's go see what our toons are doing!

3rd pov.

"Oh it's you.." Vee said seemingly annoyed but yet calmly. Vee and Shelly they weren't friends by they were sorta on good terms and bad terms, Vee being the egoistic robot and Shelly being the sweet lovable the girl they still do not interact often. When they do it ends up being awkward. Vee of course didn't HATE HATE her and Shelly does not either but they find one another annoying or such in a way that others don't see.

"Oh hi Vee! Dandy is in the kitchen! We were just cleaning up waiting for everyone to arrive!" Shelly tried her best to sound happy that vee was here but to Vee, shelly seemed too excited to see vee. "Oh alright. So can I head in or?" Shelly replied I with an apology and let vee in. The two then made their way to the kitchen to which they find a cosmo and sprout talking while dandy just sat on the countertop.

The three toons notice Vee and great her. Soon the other toons arrived exactly on time. 8 in total. Sprout,Cosmo,Dandy,Astro,Vee,Shelly,Glisten and Teagan. Dandy invited Glisten and Teagan because he knew they wouldn't mind getting messy for a fun baking activity.. or have trouble.

"Alrighty how about a small baking competition! We'll split into teams of 2 and each choose a recipe from the cook or baking book! You got ten minutes to choose a partner and recipe so go go go!" Sprout shouted excitedly.
Yes the kitchen was very big to be exact especially since it's in the city. It was obvious who was going to be with who so that left Vee and Shelly alone. The two realized and weren't very happy but pretend to act for one another.

Shelly : "So baking or cooking?"

Vee : "I don't know. I can't even eat anything to begin with."

Shelly : "Okay so uhm baking then?"

Vee : "Sure."

-insert awkward silence-

Shelly cleared her throat and grabbed the baking book. She opened it but soon Vee grabbed it, "Just tell me when to stop." Vee then flipped through the pages quickly but not too quick so Shelly can be able to see, Soon enough Shelly told her to stop. The page that showed up was crepes, "I thought crepes were a breakfast type?"shelly said a bit tad confused. Vee placed the book down. "They can be desserts or breakfast. It's sweet either way. Now let's see what we need.."

•2 tablespoons of melted butter
•11/4 cup plain milk
•1 cup all purpose flour
•1 tablespoon of maple syrup
•1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
•1/4 fine teaspoon salt
•2 large eggs

"This shouldn't be too hard.." as vee said that Shelly grabbed the ingredients placing them on the counter, "Since we won't have much time we can blend them." Shelly nods and starts taking the blender out. Vee starts measuring the ingredients and places them right inside the blender. Most of the time it was just awkward silence but they only chatted when it came to the book.

Vee : "I placed the batter in the freezer."

Shelly : "Why the freezer? It couldn't be the fridge?"

Vee : "Well it said 36 minutes and no way I'm gonna wait 36 minutes for that to chill."

Shelly : "You know it's not like a speeding challenge right? Like those cooking shows?"

Vee : "I know that but I don't have all day to wait for a bowl to chill in the fridge while everyone else is almost done."

Shelly : "All I'm saying is that we don't need to rush."

Vee : "I'm not rushing..I'm just trying to get things done quick."
