The book signing was barely over yet, but my photos taken with Zylo were already circulating on social media. So many readers who were pleasantly surprised to see us kept tagging us, even coining a new ship name as their hashtag to celebrate the guest appearance.

#Zyllie.

I sighed, knowing that this was dominating my notifications. May mga account na rin na nagpalit ng display photos and names nila to push their ship agenda.

I wasn't sure if Zylo had seen his socials already, but I hoped he wouldn't reshare their posts once he did. Now that there were photos of us together kasi, mas magkakabala na si Noah to further tease us, and the thought of that alone was already making me grimace.

I could just imagine how chaotic the group chat with him would be.

"Cap."

My attention flickered to the side when Rhys tapped my shoulder. He was pointing at the new batch of girls walking over to us, who had just finished getting their books signed by the authors. This became the unofficial set-up kahit 'di naman namin planado. The three of us stayed na nga sa likod para 'di makagulo. We actually wanted to leave to give privacy to the authors, but Shane and Ate's admins asked us to hang around for a bit dahil may mga gustong magpa-picture. I didn't have the heart to say no and that was how Zylo and I ended up having an informal photo ops sa likod para sa mga may gusto. Buti na lang, may ibang authors din sa banda namin kaya 'di lang naman kami ang gumagawa n'on.

The publisher didn't mind. In fact, I'd say they seemed to be promoting it kasi naririnig ko nang tinatanong nila si Zylo if he could show up again in future events. To that, he said susubukan niya kasi 'di rin naman siya sigurado sa sched niya and the publisher had no real definite plans just yet.

"Ate, pwede pong pa-sign sa inyo ni Kuya Zylo?" the girl with the blue jacket asked, eyes sparkling, after we finished taking a groufie. Rhys offered to take it. Ayoko nga sana because that wasn't the reason why he was invited to come, but that became his role for the day. Taga-picture. He insisted para naman daw maganda ang shots. Each time he'd capture a photo, I could see his teasing smile behind the phones.

As the girls waited for me to give permission, Zylo too glanced at me, also waiting for me to make the decision.

I shook my head, smiling apologetically. "Sorry, I'm not comfortable signing someone else's book kasi. It's still Ate Via's book. It won't be right to sign on it."

"Uhm, what if sa notebook na lang po? Okay lang po?"

Nagkatinginan kami ni Zylo. He didn't seem to mind, so I relented and nodded. The girls were squealing after we signed on the blank page. Nag-iwan pa ng cute dedication si Zylo para sa kanila.

Rhys bumped my shoulder with his when he went back to my side after the girls left.

I gave him a look. He was grinning. Nang-aasar na naman ang isang 'to. "What?"

"Nothing," he said, silently chuckling.

We stayed there for a bit before I decided to tell Shane na aalis na kami. Paalis na rin kasi yung ibang authors, so I took it as our chance to leave na rin. Shane said she was staying behind to wait for Ate Via. May hinihintay din siyang other readers she wanted to meet.

"Grabe. That's something, huh?" Zylo commented as we walked out of the meeting room.

Rhys put his hands in his pockets. "Tell me about it. When Cap said her friend was popular, I had no idea she meant this. I've only ever seen this type of energy from concerts and fan meetings," Rhys added. "But for books? All these lines just for some books? That's kinda amazing."
