"I was there when it happened. The big, bright orb in the sky that everyone once known as the Sun. At one point, it was essential to all life on this world. Its light helps the plants grow, its warmth prevents us to be frozen and its presence signified a new day when we woke up from a good night sleep. However, it all changed one day and I was there to see it happened.

In the centre of a small village, I stood along with the rest of the villagers. From that point onward, what we did was just look in both in sheer terror and disbelief. From where we stood, we witnessed as the mighty Sun went dimmed and brightened and vice versa. It was as if it was pulsating like a beating heart. After a while, the Orb brightened once more, this time as if it was in supernova. I shielded my eyes, taking care not to blind myself.

Alas, when it dimmed down and I put down my arms, all I saw in front of me was pitch black. Villagers panicked and in despair. Some struggled in the dark trying to find a light source. Some kneeled down and pray for their Creator. Me? I just stood there, still in shock. After all, the Sun was no more, casting an eternal night across the world."
