Who does she think of when she smiles
When that grin spreads 'cross her pretty face
Is it the man standing at the
end of the aisle
With eyes like stars shining in outer-space

Who does he think of when he sighs
When the air's forced from his strong lungs
When he closes his clear blue eyes
And he hears the bells that've rung

What about the little girl with flowers in her basket and bows in her hair
Does she dream of her fairytale,
Where her prince saves her, where he sweeps her off her feet and carries her away to the big shining castle

When the wind gusts through the old oak tree blowing and swirling the autumn leaves round and around the on the old stone walk, dancing a waltz with the red petals of a dissected rose.

The woman will smile
The man will sigh
The girl will dream
But in the end it will all blow away like the wind and the leaves. It will fall and wilt like the flowers that come from the basket. It will fade like the vibrations of the last bell sounded. It will die like the stars in outer-space. In the end it will only be a memory. Lost in time and space.
