Chance's first and only love Dominic would tell him whenever Chance would shed a tear over them not being able to be open about their relationship, Chance held those words closest to His heart when Dominic was there,however he still remembers the day that Dominic decided to be brave and come out to one of his brothers and the outcome of him doing so

Chance screamed at the sight of Dominic who'd been hung in his House from his bedroom Window upstairs, with the words 'Faggots don't deserve to live' written in his blood on the window pane.His parents were devastated however his three older brothers Pablo,Leo,and Mario didn't have a single tear in their eyes, Chance believed that they had hung their Brother and that the police were extremely dumb for declaring the scene to be suicide
Chance woke up in an immense amount of sweat from the memory that haunted him every night since Dominic's death six months ago.He pushed off his wet covers and headed down the hallway of his house completely covered with Crosses and miniature figures of Jesus and other figures representing his family's heavy belief in Christianity.He walked into the kitchen where his father was sitting eating the breakfast set out on the table
"Good morning Dad"Chance uttered not feeling too well as his nightmare left him a headache
"What did you call me young man?"His father said with his always stern and vicious tone

Soon there was an awkward silence that came over the room before Chance mustered up enough courage to open his mouth again
"Where is Mother?" Chance asked hoping that she was in the house so that he could ask her how to relieve his migraine
"She is starting the morning sermon at the church,so you should hurry up so she can drop you off when she gets here?"
Ester,Chance's mother was the pastor at their church, Chance always looked at her as a single mother,Marcus,the man he called Dad was his step father,his real father had left his mother before he was born and she married Marcus months after his birth.He ran upstairs and quickly found his school uniform and slipped it on with some makeup that matched his skin tone perfectly already safely tucked inside his sweater pocket and rushed downstairs when he heard the blaring car horn from his mother's car
"Hi momma"Chance said looking at his mother and waiting for her response
"Yes Sister Ruth we will all be there for bible study tomorrow night"
Chance rolled his eyes at Ester's conversation,he hated going to church and hearing everyone be so judgmental towards anyone who didn't pray for breakfast,lunch,and dinner.Chance barely ever spoke to His mother because with her being so caught up in church events she just didn't have time to do so.When they arrived at the high school Chance let himself out of the car reluctantly as he knew that behind the double doors of his school lay a living hell.He stepped one foot in the door before a black bag covered his face and he was dragged into the boys bathroom, Chance wasn't the least bit afraid as he knew what was about to happen,everyday since Dominic's brothers told their football buddies that chance was the guy that my brother was in love with and the reason why he killed himself Chance would be taken into the bathroom and beaten by a different footballer and threatened that 'if you tell anyone you'll be dead just like your faggot boyfriend' However this day seemed different from the other days it had happened to Chance then an overwhelming light blasted in chance face with the bag disappearing, when he finally could survive the intensity of the bright bathroom light he seen a figure standing in front of him
"Pablo"
Chance said with his eyes growing wider and wider
'Pablo doesn't play football why would he be here' Chance thought to himself before he suddenly seen a group of twelve guys behind Pablo including Mario and Leo, he knew that Pablo was low but not low enough to hurt his brother's only love,seeing that Pablo was the one who Dominic told
"Happy anniversary Chance"
Pablo,Dominic's third oldest brother said making Chance gasp as he realized that on this day was the two year anniversary of his relationship with Dominic but it served the question of how Pablo knew the exact day of his brother's secret relationship with Chance.

Chance shrieked as he tried to fight off the entire football team while they stripped him completely.

One of the players said slamming into Chance and covering his mouth when he screamed in pain,the only other time Chance had ever felt anything entering him was when he lost his virginity to Dominic

A couple of boys walked in and seen Chance's bloody body

Another boys said, they all walked out of the bathroom cowardly and didn't stop to tell anyone about what they seen in the bathroom,they walked into their first period and continued with their days,as if they hadn't seen anything. It wasn't until after school when a janitor walked into the bathroom and seen Chance laying there and called the police where they called an ambulance. Chance's stepfather was flabbergasted to see his stepson on the floor bloody.He preceded to do his job as a paramedic but when he had to call Ester things were a bit difficult

Ester looked at her phone to see Marcus calling her while she was giving sermon and ignored the call until she finished and got in her car and called Marcus back
"ESTER"
Marcus yelled through the phone when Ester finally called him an hour later
"What is it Marcus that it could wait till I had delivered the word of the lord?"
Ester replied with anger burrowed in her voice

"Ester shut up, Chance is in the hospital"
Tears started to well up in Ester's eye as she was completely hysterical over the news
"What happened?"
"I don't know just get down here"

The engine of Ester's bmw roared as she sped off to the hospital to see what was wrong.
