Bolin was nervous about what he was going to tell his brother. Almost four months ago Bolin took herbs that his boyfriend had found from the Earth Kingdom. These herbs where support to give men the ability to get pregnant.
Since he and Iroh had been talking about having a family in the months since he moved in, he thought it was a beautiful idea. And it worked. Bolin became pregnant and the boys found out a month ago nether could be happier, but Bolin struggled to tell his brother. Mako already hated his almost forty year old boyfriend, and treated there relationship like it was some rebellious phase.
Mako was going to kill Iroh over this. Bolin almost wanted to tell Asami Korra, or even Lin before he went to his big brother, he even thought that maybe they could tell Mako for him. But that would lead to Mako never trusting him and killing Iroh. He had to man up, maybe stop Mako from killing Iroh.

Bolin sat at the table at the Earth Kingdom restaurant he picked to meet. Mako loved Earth Kingdom grub so he prayed it help.
"He baby bro!" Mako bellowed as he walked up to the table. "You wanted to talk?"
Bolin was happy the table covered his baby bump. "Well yeah but I - I don't know how to tell you." Bolin confessed.
Mako sat up, "you sick buddy?" Bolin shook his head no. "You get hurt."
"No." Bolin said furrowing his thick eyebrows.
"Oh I get it," Mako said with a smirk. "You or General Pedo-Pants realizes your relationship fucked up and you broke up."
Bolin shook his head in frustration and yelped, "no, no no! He's not a pedophile and we didn't brake up, we've actually never Been happier." Bolin voice calmed a bit down but Mako just snapped back,
"Then what is it?" He said slamming his fist on the table.
This is not the tone he wanted Mako to be in when he told him but he absolutely had to tell his brother now. The cats practically out of the bag.
"Mako, I'm well pregnant." Bolin says and explains before Mako can question. "There are these herbs from the Omashu Region, they give men the ability to get pregnant. We've been talking about having a family for the longest time and when Iroh offered me the herbs I jumped at the chance. I mean bro I'm not just going to have a family but I'm carrying a life inside me, it's the most beautiful important thing I've done with my life."
Mako just starred at his little brother in complete shock of what he was hearing. "Your pregnant?" Bolin only nodded to respond to his brother. "And Iroh's the father. " Bolin nodded once again. "I'm going to kill him." Mako said standing up.
Bolin put some Yuans on the table and fallowed his brother. "What you can't I love him Mako!"
"He's a pedophile, no better then the rapist who killed Asami's mom." Mako said in an eerily calm voice.
"So your comparing the man who made me the happiest man alive, who only wants to help others to a cold blooded murder!" Bolin huffed back.
Mako didn't respond he just went straight to the Satomobile that Korra got from Tarluq and drove to the apartment Bolin and Iroh shared.

Iroh was home early from work. He wanted to surprise Bolin with a nice dinner and a gift. Iroh planed to prepose to his beloved but he was a perfectionist so he had to make everything right.
Iroh had no idea the rage filled terroir that would storm into his penthouse.
Mako was so protective of Bolin he do any to keep him safe from any threats. So he shoved his way threw the building to the top floor. He burnt down the door and Iroh got in a attack position. "Iroh." Mako mumbled before starting his blind attack.

Bolin ran to get Korra who was in the apartment she shared with Mako witch was actually pretty close to the restaurant.
Korra was practicing her hand to hand combat wail listening to the radio in her alone time. She stopped when she heard the Jazz music stop and an announcer come on. "Trouble down town as Officer Mako of RCPD attacks esteemed General Iroh of the United Forces. No one yet knows what provoked this attack we just hope it's resolved quickly."
As Korra listened in shock Bolin bursted in. "Korra! Mako's gone crazy he's trying to kill Iroh!" Bolin yelled out of breath.
"I heard, why?" She asks opening the living room window.
Bolin became shy again. "Well it may have to do with me being pregnant with Iroh's child."
"Your what?" Korra snapped. Pinching the bridge of her nose she shook it off. "We'll talk about this latter. I'm going to stop Mako." She said as she used her glider to fly out the window.
"Yeah, I'll just take a cab." Bolin said to him self closing the window.

Korra arrived to the evacuated building that thankfully didn't have too much damage she flew in a window left open by one of the boys.
Korra then took the water out of the toilet and stormed in the living room freazing mako and putting on out the fires. "What do you think your doing?" She questioned returning the water to the toilet and getting a much less disgusting bow of water to heal Iroh's burbs.
"Me?" Mako snapped, "this pedophile got Bolin pregnant!"
Korra starred healing Iroh and sighed. "Mako he's not a pedophile. Tenzin is older then Pema and Lin was older then him. Avatar Aang was hundred and twelve when he started dating Katara. And if I'm not mistaken wasn't Hiroshi older then his wife? It's not my preference but it's not sick." Korra says to her boyfriend. "Plus Bolin is nearly seventeen. Sixteen is the marring age so what there doing is perfectly legal."
"It just seems too wrong for me." Mako says.
Korra goes and grabs the first aid kit to bandage up Iroh's leg. "But it's Bolin's. He's really happy Mako, believe it or not your hurting him more then Iroh possibly could be."
"Look I won't press charges if you pay for the damages. You can keep your job if Chief Beifong will allow it." Iroh says as an olive branch.
Korra leads both men down stairs letting Lin braided Mako.

"Iroh!" Bolin yells from the crowd.
Iroh runs to Bolin and hugs him tight almost crying.
"Are you ok? Did Mako hurt you?" Bolin asks in a panic.
"I'm fine." Iroh says in his lovers neck. "Is the baby ok? Are you?"
Bolin nods returning to there hug. "We're both fine."
Iroh drops to one knee and pulls the ring out of his pocket. Iroh opened the box to reveal a Ba Sing Se emerald surrounded by volcano diamonds. "Bolin I was already going to ask you tonight at dinner but I need to ask now. Bolin, will you marry me."
Bolin nods and pulls him up for a kiss tears streaming down his face. "Of course I will, I love you Iroh."
