Take it in.

Go to sleep.

Watch the world.

As they weep.

No turning back.

I begin to fall.

Into the darkness.

I hear it call.

Yet still I hold fast.

With one last breath.

The tolls for my sins.

They all equal death.

Just one good.

There is all that is left.

I must change my ways.

From this lust and theft.

I take my turn.

I hit the ground where I stand.

I throw my hands up in the air.

For I am only man.

God I cry out to you.

Before I come to death.

I will do good for this life.

Until my last breath.
