"Ev! Evan! Please! Stay awake!!" I heard her scream at me. The burning sensation on my back of her dragging me across the gravel as the side on my stomach was drenched in blood. I groaned softly and looked up at her silhouette. I smiled and weakly squeezed her hand. I watched my vision focus in and out. I closed my eyes, starting to become sleepy and weak. I felt her hand let go of mind, dropping me to the ground. I groaned in pain as she stepped out infront of me. My vision slowly unfocused, everything was slowing down. I could hear my heart beat getting softer and slower. Darkness creeped out of the corners of my eyesight and made its way inward. This was the end. No more birthdays, no more smiles, no jokes, no more victories. This was it.
