"Is everything alright?"
When everything is wrong.
It is hard to answer the question
"Is everything fine at home?"
When you don't know if you have a home.
It's hard to answer the question
"Why do you want to die?"
When you don't yet know;
all you know
is that you dont want to live. or breathe. or feel.
Because you feel dead & broken inside.
But for once, realize
you have made it so far so why break that effort?
Ignore the stares directed at you & the people who say you disgust them
Because there is no good, nor bad.
There is no god in my eyes.
But in my eyes, those people are not low
their actions are.
Yet, we need remember;
they seem to be society's perfect.
But are they really?
Inside, you need to peel away the skin
you need to find the real them;
because they're just as scared as you are.
So hold out your hand with a gentle smile
banish their masks & the anchors that tie them
& let's swim to the surface of depression.
Let's solve our own problems,
or maybe not.
but we will at least know in our hearts that we helped solve theirs.
