Lassiter's pov
*knock knock*
"Who in there right mind would be here at this hour!" Lassiter says while approaching his front door gun in hand.
"Lassie open up its freezing out here!"
Shawn says through the door.
"Spencer?" Lassiter says confused as he opens the door lowering his gun
"Yeah hey can I stay the night me and Jules broke up and Gus is out of town.." Shawn rushes all in one breath
"No you can't, wait O'hara left you?"Lassiter says as he closes the door behind Shawn who had already welcomed himself into his apartment.
"Yeah she said she couldn't take how childish I was anymore and we needed to see other people." Shawn says
" ok but why are you here?" Lassiter asks still confused
" because I consider you a friend and I needed someone." Shawn says slightly hurt
" why didn't you just go to your dad or something I'm no good at this comforting stuff." Lassiter states
"Of course you are Lassie your just a big teddy bear!" Shawn says hugging Lassiter
"Stop that!" Lassiter pushes Shawn away
"I'm sorry. Listen can I just stay over here tonight it's late and I'm slightly intoxicated..."Shawn pleads
" Sure. But leave me alone and listen to me. My house my rules. Got it?" Lassiter says sternly
"Yes sir." Shawn flirts.
" don't do that."Lassiter says slightly taken back
" do what lassie?" Shawn says innocently
"You know what."Lassiter says
"No clue what you are referring to. Did I do something naughty Lassie?" Shawn says in a sarcastic yet flirting tone
"Stop it seriously!" Lassiter snaps
"You're hot when your angry." Shawn says partly to piss off Lassiter partly because it's true.
"Spencer!" Lassiter yells
"Sorry, it's true.... Hey do you have anything to drink?" Shawn asks avoiding the glare he was currently receiving from the angry detective
"Yeah I do. But not for you." Lassiter says annoyed
"Awe no fair any good movies?" Shawn asks
"Yeah they're in the case on top of the DVD player, don't scratch them." Lassiter says
"Cool" Shawn says flipping through the DVDs "Lassie all you have are cop movies and everything Chuck Norris was ever in." Shawn states teasingly
"Well that's all I like. Blow me!" Lassiter states a little annoyed
"Ok" Shawn says
"What? Oh shut up!" Lassiter says blushing
"Oh hey you actually have one movie I like " The Notebook " let's watch!" Shawn says excited
"Ok but I would like to point out that it's not mine it is my ex wife's she must have left it here.." Lassiter says a little embarrassed
"Lassie it's ok to have feelings. Besides its a great film." Shawn says as he presses play. They both sit on the couch and Lassiter is fixed to the screen (he actually loved this movie) yet he still felt the pair of eyes on him.
"Spencer stop staring at me." Lassiter says still looking at the screen
"Sorry I can't help it your just so adorable." Shawn says truthfully
"Why do you do that? Flirt with me like that? you don't like me." Lassiter retorts
"Lassie I do like you." Shawn says
"No you don't your not gay stop acting like you are!" Lassiter yells now looking at him
"No you're right I'm not gay I'm bi but close enough..." Shawn says seriously
"Wait what?" Lassiter asks
"Yeah that wasn't a secret I openly flirt with guys all the time."Shawn states

*Lassiter looks away and shifts uncomfortably*

Lassiter was cut off by Shawns lips Shawn was originally doing this to prove a point and it wasn't until now that he realized how much he actually wanted Lassie that he truly felt something, something strong.. Really strong. At this point he also realized Lassie, he was kissing back. They deepened the kiss. Shawn was gripping on to Lassie, while Lassiter was tugging on Shawn's shirt. the lack of air proved to much.
