I hear my name escape your lips
It's pondering, I never thought it would jump out so quick
It came out softer than expected too
Did your voice quiver as you said it
I couldn't tell
Are you worried
Are you happy
Or possibly mad as hell
Is there something you wish to tell me
Maybe something I can't handle to hear
Why do you need my attention right now
Is it a good or bad thing
Just tell me the unbearable news so I can get it over with already
Do you want to give up on me
And then after that lifetime in my head, you smile
You smile and look at me only to whisper "I love you," and set my world at peace
