Tryouts we're rough. But the instructor making us wait a few days just to know whether or not we made it was even worse.
I never thought that I would actually make guard considering I managed to screw up the whole dance and flag routine entirely and not to mention there we're people crying everywhere. Even the people who were vets and incredibly talented were crying because they were nervous that they didn't make the cut. So how in hell did I have a chance. All I knew was that I was here trying my best and smiling. Always smile through it all. Fake it toll you make it.
