         " Lauren do you want to be best friends for ever and ever?" 

           "of course Kylee!"  

Those were the days. The days with no major conflict only who's mom made them a better lunch or who wore the cutest clothes or shoes. Now its all about who has the most money or who has a boyfriend. Me and my friend Lauren have been best friends since the 5th grade and now we are about to graduate college, we always told each other we would graduate together but now im not so sure anymore. 

Lauren has been partying more and more and falling behind on her work and I don' know how to confront her and tell her i'm worried. She want's to go to the club to celebrate fore my wedding but I just don't know with us being in college its hard to have a good job and get paid a lot so we don't really want to spend anything but then again I feel like we deserve it. I don't know this will take some thinking to do

" Kylee i'm home! Let's go get some food!"

" Lauren it's three in the morning we have class at seven-thirty tomorrow what are you doing?" 

" Gosh Kylee your such a party pooper!" 

Gosh how am I supposed to do this she's always coming home either wasted or high. How can she always do this yet get up on time in the morning. Harry wants me to talk to her and convince her to stop drinking and getting high all the time but it's so hard to when she stares at you and makes you feel bad. Sometimes I want to end it all and kick her out of our dorm because she's affecting my sleep.

"Coming, Hey honey!"

"Hey sweetheart, ready to go to breakfast?" 

" Yeah one second. Lauren you need to get up it's time to go to class in 45 minutes me and Harry are gonna go to eat at IHOP then going to class so you need to get up."

" okay mom." 

" whatever trying to look out for you. Im surprised, you don't seem to hungover. Goodbye so you in class"

" I thought you were going to talk to her and tell her how you feel."

" I was but she didn't get him till three last night and I was NOT in the mood for talking."

" I know but it just hurts me seeing that you can't even talk to your best friend." 

" I know me too." 

Harry has always been there for me and cared about me every since freshman year. He is the sweetest guy ever. We are going to get married in 3 days! We wanna get married soon because when we graduate this year we want to move to Germany where harry and I's family live. I really don't want to leave Lauren but he is more important and means the world to me.

" Chemical reactions like diet coke and Mentos as we will be doing a lab on next week-"

"professor Edward why are we in college doing middle school things?"

" Are you serious Lauren he is trying to talk." 

" Well because some of us need this extra learning."

I remember doing this in middle school. Me and Lauren were partners and our science teacher told us to bring in the supplies and we would be doing that experiment.

I remember I told her to bring in diet coke and i'll bring in the Mentos. The next day was our experiment and I brought in the supplies and she brought in coke. Now I know this  isnt a huge deal but the recipe called for diet coke so it would make more of an explosion but she never listens she never follows the rules...ever.
