Haunting Me

He told me his secrets, and all about her.
How do I tell him, he just made it worse?
The memory of her, invaded my mind,
Maybe one day she'll be nowhere to find.

He told me he loves me, but does he not see,
The spell he has cast, will not let me pass.
I wish she would leave, leave me in peace,
And just stop haunting me.

Everything he owns, revolves around her,
And even though she's been dead for years,
She has become my worst fear.

He told me he's moved on, but that's not what I see,
I know he's still grieving, so he needs to stop deceiving.
I think I'm losing my mind, and I don't know why,
So if you would be so kind, and please do not lie,
Please tell me why she is haunting me.

She was seventeen and pregnant, and to young to be a parent,
He was sixteen and stupid, for even thinking he was cupid.
He said it was wrong, and they weren't that strong,
Then one day, they were forever gone.
His days turned gray, as they were both withdrawn,
Then she soon began haunting me.
