-namjoon pov-

After adding Jin's number to my phone, I decided to go shopping since I was running out of food at home and needed to stop getting take away all the time, I carried on ticking all the boxes on my list as I made my way around the grocery store until my phone began vibrating  in my back pocket.

hoseok-omf, have you got it yet?

namjoon-yes

hoseok-where are you then?? I've been waiting forever >:(

namjoon-gosh, ever heard of a little thing called patience?

hoseok-dude I'm being serious, I broke the bloody book and need a replacement asap!

namjoon-wait till I finish my grocery shopping and I'll come over

hoseok-k

Before putting my phone back into the pocket of my jeans I checked the time and decided that I had everything that I needed, I quickly paid for my groceries and made my way down to Hoseok's house and knocked on his door I heard the shuffling of feet before he finally opened the door.

"Oh my god, you took forever!"

"Here"
I handed him the book as well as the receipt.

"You owe me that much, 6.90."

"Come on, I'll give you free dinner if I don't have to pay you back."
Hoseok wriggled his eyebrows and lightly punched my stomach, I hesitated for a while before finally excepting his offer.

"Okay"

-jin pov-

I checked my phone for the 6th time after Namjoon left the bookstore, still no reply, I guess he is just busy. I shouldn't be thinking about this I'm not in love with him am I? Of course not.

"Hey Jin."
Someone cut me out of my thoughts I looked up from the counter to face the man.

"Yoongi?"

"Who else would it be?"
Yoongi replied with a slight smile.

"What are you doing here?"

"I don't know, what are you doing here?"
He replied running his hands across a book.

"I work here, what do you need?"

"To catch up, I came back from Seoul yesterday, you weren't home."

"Oh yeah, I was out with some friends."

"Hmm, so do you want to catch up or what, old friend?"

"Sure, just let me close up the store."

-namjoon pov-

"What do you mean you met a guy at the store?"
Hoseok questioned picking up his second slice of pizza.

"I mean I met someone at the store who seemed like a nice friend."
I replied opening my can of soda.

"Oh like a boyfriend or?"

"Hoseok do you understand the meaning of friendship?"

"Yes but I don't know many people who asked someone for their number just so they could be 'friends' and plus you have been single since Jesus was born I think it's time you tried dating, grandad."

"I will make your death look like an accident, Hoseok. He is just a friend okay? Nothing more."

"Sureee, hey let's try texting him."
Hoseok replied with a mouth full of pizza I nodded and took out my phone to check the time before texting Jin, 7:50pm, I guess the store would be closed by now, this might be a good time to contact him.

"Okay here we go"
I replied excitedly, which made Hoseok roll his eyes at me and move closer to see the screen of my phone.

namjoon-hey! :) it's me namjoon from earlier remember?

jin-yes I remember you namjoon :)

"This guy is definitely into you man"
Hoseok interrupted laughing a little before snatching my phone off of my hands.

"Hey!"

namjoon-so when's our next date, babe ;)

"Oh my GOD, Hoseok I'm so going to kill you!"

"Calm your farm, joonie, it's not that bad."
Hoseok retorted covering his laugh with his hands.

"Are you serious? This makes me look like some idiot who, ugh..you bitch I will ruin your life, Hoseok."
I got up from my sitting position to check my messages again.

jin-I'm not sure what you mean, ahah

jin-hello?

namjoon-I'm soooo sorry, that was my idiot friend, hoseok

jin-oh, I'm hanging out with one of my friend too, he just went to go order our food

namjoon-cool! I guess I should leave you to talk with your friend, I'll text you later, yeah?

jin-yeah sure!

"So what did he say?"
Hoseok asked wiping a tear after laughing so much.

"He said that you should go die in a hole."

"Gosh your boyfriend is so mean! What did I ever do to him?"
Hoseok replied laughing once again

"Just shut up."
I said laughing with him.
