Pirates Resolution
This year I swear I'm goin to shine up me ship,
Keep me crew in line, when they be flappin their lips.
I'm goin to sharpen me hook and wax up me peg leg,
Even try to stop swiggin rum right out of the keg.
Keep me floggin down to the bare bones,
Jest enough to keep me skills honed.
Buy me mangy three legged dog his very own treasure chest,
He be special to me, I know in me heart he be the best.
I'm goin to git me parrot a new perch to ride,
So he kin navigate easier on the mornin tide.
This year I swear I be the best pirate I kin be,
Plunderin and pillaging on the open sea.
