Every word that leaves my lips is a sign that something lives.
I carry a heavy heart when I need to mourn,
and increase it's pace when the absence of joy is overcome.
Integration inspired me to become one with the crowd, and a sense of accomplishment filled this room with empty sound.
Love me and leave me all alone,
you've carried me home and I've run away. The cloud where we live is weighing down,
our lives won't live on if we watch them drown.
Is this where you want to end our story? In mid-sentence, no closure, why can't I fast forward.
There was something that lived in me,
what seems like moments ago,
but you didn't want me so you let me go.
However, I'd rather have this memory than have nothing at all, so I thank you, my mother, for making me feel so small...
