Prologue (Joel's POV)
It's unbelievable. It's her. After all these years now will I realize that it was her all along that I love? I am so stupid to ever break her heart a million times.
Flashback
"Don't you get it, I love you. After all these fucking years I have loved you, and I always will. I laugh because of you. The heck, I only smile because of you. But, every time you have a girlfriend, it always breaks my heart to realize that you'll always love me in a sisterly way." She shouted at the top of her lungs at me and left the room crying.
End of Flashback
Just by remembering what she shouted felt as if you were stabbing yourself a million times.
