I say in bed wide a wake. I had no idea what time it was but I had a sudden urge to call shane. I think no I knew I liked him a lot but I was sure he wasn't gay. We were just great friends. Oh I wanted to be more then friends though! I wanted him to love me he way I love him. I checked my phone, it was 3 in the morning. Shane probably isnt awake but I have to here his voice.
Ring ring ring ring
Shane: hello?
Joey: shane
Shane: yeah!
He sounded excited to here me even if it was at 3 am
Joey: I was just calling... Well actually don't know why I was calling...
Shane: is there something on your mind?
I suddenly heard background noise and a voice that sounded like Lisa but angrier.
Shane: I'm sorry I have to go.
He whispered before hanging up
(Shane's Pov)
Lisa looked at me mad. Here comes another fight...
Lisa: who the fuck are you talking to!!!!!!! Oh wait let me guess! Your gay boyfriend!!
I don't know how to reply. I was lost for words.
Shane: he called me...
Lisa: AT 3 AM!!! WAS WHAT EVER HE HAD TO SAY REALLY THAT IMPORTANT!!!! IM SO SICK OF YOU! Go sleep note couch. I want you out my tomorrow.
Then she mumbled just loud enough for me to hear "go die while your at it.
With that I walked away tears running down my face. I was alone. She hated me. This was the end of us. I had no where to go.
I decided to call joey back. I needed advice. I needed some where to stay. I only hoped he would invite me to live with him. I didnt want to be 25 and living with my mom.
Ring ring ring ring ring
(Joeys Pov)
I was wide awake and wondering what was going on between shane and Lisa. I know they have been fighting but i think soon enough it's going to ruin them. Suddenly I heard my phone ring. I looked at the caller ID and it showed Shane's picture. I quickly answered it.
Joey: hello
I heard muffled sobs a d a very sad shane
Shane: m-me and Lisa a-are over
Joey: are you ok!? Do you need a place to stay?
Shane: I have until tomorrow to leave.
Joey: I'll be down in the morning. Your going to move in with me.
Shane: thank you
I hung up the phone kind of mixed with emotions. I was so happy that I have at least a small chance of being with him now and he's going to move in with me but it was devastating know Shane's upset.
