Do I even care?
Care for the incorrigible foes,
Leaving the wrong path,
I “change” a tenfold.
A human I had never wanted to be,
I gave up my other self,
For a friend, I was glad to see,
Stevie Rae, you still owe me.
Envisions – my only pride,
Nyx embraced me with gifts and open arms,
I refused her offer - brought anger, hatred and wrath,
But now, I realize it was futile…
I raise my glass to the amazing people I’ve met,
Had they accepted me the way I was,
I bet,
Even the Dark Daughters’ would’ve thrown eggs.
“They” helped me seek love,
Soon after, Darius shoved a clear path for me…
As the sun came up and the snow melted,
I metamorphosis’d to “me.”
For as long as Paris (Darius) and I are together,
No Helen will enter our world,
We’ve promised to keep our bond tight,
Till our hair grays and teeth fall.
I have learnt from my mistakes,
But I still don’t give a damn,
You ought to learn the ‘live life’ and ‘still laid back’ attitude,
From none other than the new Aphrodite – Yes, that’s me.
The hatred for Neferet,
Kalona and the untamed beings,
We went through all of it,
You’re the best friend I longed to have, Z.
The night drapes me with her warm, black beauty – I am Aphrodite, and I am moi.
