Have you ever wondered why the Aurora Borealis attracted millions every year, just to watch a light show? Was there ever an underlying suspicion that the Aurora Borealis wasn't only just a light show that lit the sky up in magnificent hues of green and tones of purple?

Adhara was a baby born during one of the Aurora's light spectacles, and grew up to be around the Borealis every night, decoding it's messages and watching the waves it made during the night. But once she discovered she shared similarities with her beloved borealis, she and her long time best friend and boyfriend, Jude, search for the answers she needed to discover why the way she was.

And in the middle of her existential crisis, she finds herself being tracked by the Avengers, and is recruited as their first mutant born member. She is thrown into a complicated love triangle, promises a certain avenger to find the ex-assassin pal that's been just under her nose, and goes on a wild goose chase, and only to prove herself and the avengers that she's capable of stability.
