"I got a phone call form Scarlett. She was crying. 'Jazz.....I need you.' He left.... Didn't he?'

I tried talking her out of leaving. She refused. I knew I couldn't let her go. At least

not alone. We climbed back outside, leaving the world of comfort and of my own

home behind. 'Give me one good reason why I should stay!' 'For her.' 'I said a good reason!

But obviously you don't have one!' There was no way I was gonna stay there. 'Ben?

Everyone thought you were dead.' 'I knew they wouldn't make it. Not out there. I died out

there 3 years ago. How did she see me?' I have to follow them. 'Huh? Ben?' 'Scar, who are

you talking to?'They found Ben's body.' I just..... Don't wanna lose my best friend.

'Two girls went missing last night according to the mother of the 16 year old Scarlett Frost

and parents of 16 year old Jasmine Hernandez. As of right now we are unsure if this was

kiddnapping or a run away. Please help bring these two young ladies home.' 'Scar, you two

have to leave this motel! They just had you two on the news.' 'Ben, I-' 'No. We can talk

later. Now we gotta leave.' 'I wanna go home!' 'Well then, let's get you two home.'

'Hey Mrs.Hernandez. Sorry to keep Jasmine out all night and getting you worried. I had to

go to the hospital to visit someone and needed her to go with me.'

"Mom I am 16 I need a little freedom!" "You can have your freedom when you turn 18!"

"All I'm asking is to go the movies with him!" "No he is 18!" "That is only two years!"

"Yeah and you can date him in two years! End of discussion!" "Ugh You are the worst

mother ever!" I ran up to my room and cried. Seriously I need a little bit of freedom!

It was like 2 a.m. I picked up the phone and dialed Devin's number. I was leaving and

he was going with me!" About 30 minutes later, I heard a car pull up. No headlights. I

peaked out. I saw his red chevorlet sitting outside. My phone lit up with a text from him.

'Hey beautiful, I'm here.' 'Okay. Be right there.' I carefully threw my bag out the window

and jumped out.

I jumped in the passenger seat. Slowly and quitly we pulled out of the driveway. Me being

as dumb as I am, I didn't bring any food or anything so we had to stop

at this creepy, old, empty gas station I had never been to before. We walked in and got

food and drinks then went to pay. The clerk was extreamly creepy. He had grey hair, looked

about 45, he was pretty short, I'd guess about 5'11, and his teeth were all rotted out, and

his eyes.....The eyes will haunt me. They were unnatrual. They were like a silver color. He
