I'm three years old again, running around with my white, dappled with black, wings out. They're more commonly known as Snowy owl wings, obviously. I'm playing a game with the Whitecoats. Or am I just being difficult? It's hard to remember. I think I was just being difficult. I'm known for that.

As I turn a corner, I smash into something. Or, someone. I look up at the curly-brown-haired lady, smiling down at me. "M-Mati!" I squealed, making grabby hands. She was always my favorite here. At least, for a little while.

"Oh, Alex! There you are! It's time to go do a test, love." The curly haired woman smiled, picking me up. Little me giggled and folded in my wings as I was carried off to a large white room. "It's another maze, dear. No shockies this time." the woman said, setting me down and opening the door as the maze walls rose.

Little three-year-old me looked so curious and excited. Boy, how I looked now.

Three-year-old Alex took off as fast as her fat little toddler legs could take her, unfurling her wings as she went. She finished the maze in three minutes. Impressive. And then came the labs.

And that's when I woke up screaming.

I looked around frantically, having bolted upright in my spot. As I took in my surroundings, I let out a shaky breath of relief. I was in Star's basement, having a sleepover. Maple was to my right, snoring quietly, Star was on the little couch, curled up with her music as loud as it can go, and Violet was probably upstairs looking for 3am snacks. How did nobody hear me scream?

Slowly, I stood. I looked at Star, giving the now worried looking brunette a small nod. I'm alright, just need some air. My mouth couldn't form the words, so I just make a jerk that I hoped looked like I was gesturing outside. I didn't stop to see if it did. I just took off out the back door.

Running my hands through my semi-messy hair, which now looked almost black in the night despite it being blonde, I let out a small whine and sat down in the middle of the damp back yard and pulled one of my knees to my chest. Imagine Newt from the Maze Runner sitting, and you're golden. Then imagine Moaning Myrtle crying, and you're even more golden, because I sounded like her. Or, at least, somewhat.

And the next thing I knew, I had three pairs of arms wrapping around me from all directions. I screamed and curled in on myself more, which caused my friends to back up in surprise. My chest was so tight, and I was screaming as loud as they would let me. "Alex! Alex it's okay, uhm, you're okay! We're not going to hurt you, please Alex, just look at me!" Maple's pale blue PJ bottoms came into view as she knelt in front of me, trying probably everything she could to calm me down.

"Girls? Star? What's going on?" I heard distantly, my chest just getting tighter. Why me why me why me why me?  My head screamed, causing me to whimper out loud. "Call an ambulance or something! Please!" Came Star's broken reply. to I assumed was her father.

"N-n-no!" I managed to stutter. "N-no needles... no IV, n-no monitors..." I sounded pathetic, to say the least. "We have to, Alex. You've never been this bad before." Was that Maple or Violet? Or was it Star, even? I couldn't tell. All I could tell was that I need space. Lots of it. I couldn't just spread my wings and take off like it was completely normal! I'd be back in that goddamned lab for sure.

So I just gave in to darkness, waking up in a hospital bed a few days later.

Shorty short first chappie. (Hey, it's as short as Dannie ;o; *Cracks up* I'm an awful girlfriend)

Anyways, I hope this isn't too dramatic for ya'll. I'mma try and update as much as I can, and I hope the real Violet, Maple and Star help me do it. *Smiles*

Peace out girly scouts! *Holds up peace sign and giggles*
