“Mom, I’ll be going now. I’ll be back before 5:00 or so”,
“Yuri! You always go out after your working hours, why can’t you just stay at home and take a rest?” My mom scolds me as she stands between me and the door.
“Mom, you know way better than anyone that I can’t just stay at home. I need to move these feet of mine”, I defended myself as I try to sneak out.
“Aish you hard headed girl. Just be careful okay?” she said with a defeated sigh as she moves aside letting me pass through.
“Thanks mom, you’re the best. Catch you later!” I kissed her cheek as I walk away from our house and halt a cab.
So here I am in a cab, not knowing where to go exactly. I just let my feet decide.
I halted the cab on the town proper of the city as I pay the driver some bills.
I went on one of the famous fast food chains on town and order some quick time meals.
“B1 please, make the coke to large size. Oh! And also add some sundae, chocolate will be great”, I told the counter as she punch on some of the keys on the machine as it shows how much I will have to pay.
“That’ll be just $2”, she said to me with a gleaming smile as I handed her the 2 dollar bill. “Here is your order ma’am, enjoy your meal…next customer please”, she added as I smiled back at her and grab my tray of food.
Looking for a better place to seat and devour my food, I didn’t notice the ‘wet floor signage’ on the floor and…BAM!
“OH MY F****** GOD! I’M REALLY SORRY!”
All the customers on the area looked at me as I try to apologize to the one I splash my soda with.
Different comments are muttering all over the place. GREAT! JUST GREAT!
“What the hell?! Watch where you’re going! And look what happened to my shirt!” a blonde girl shouted back as she tries to remove the stain on her shirt.
Great. It looks expensive too. Way to go Kwon Yuri.
“I’m really sorry miss; I didn’t mean to do it. I didn’t see the sign on the floor”, I apologise to her as I offer her my handkerchief.
“Your sorry won’t do me any good! How am I supposed to go out like this?! I look like a wet rug!” she said to me as she shows me the stain on her clothes and it is very visible since she was just wearing a thin plain white shirt.
“I’m really sorry, I…I’ll think of something…hold on…” I stop as I noticed something very familiar that was with her that time.
“What?!” she snarled.
“You’re a fan of SUNGHA?!” I excitedly asked her as I put down the tray beside her own as I pointed out to her bag.
“Huh?” she turned her face to where my finger is pointing and she sees a picture of Sungha dangling on her bag, just like a keychain. “Y-Yes?” she then added.
“Ooh~ me too! Kwon Yuri by the way!” I extend my hand to her as I introduce myself.
“Eh? No way! Really?! I’m Jung Jessica! Nice to meet you!” she also extend hers hand as we both share our first handshake.
