"What?! When is it?" My dad asks. "In a week.." I reply. "This SOON?!" He shakes his head. "The tickets are probably all sold out!" He continues and my mom rests her hand on his shoulder. "Honey no one goes to these stupid conventions." She says and I roll my eyes. My dad's probably right...a week from now?!
He sighs. "Who'll be taking you?"

"Well...as long as I'm not involved in this, I'm okay with it." He slightly smiles to me.
