What is a Haiku?

Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. (in this case the daily lives of the characters.)

Line 1 - 5 syllables
Line 2 - 7 syllables
Line 3 - 5 syllables

Example:
(5) The sky is so blue.
(7) The sun is so warm up high.
(5) I love the summer
