Tyler POV

It's been over a two weeks since Maggie's disappearance. My mother was forced to tell the whole town that she was missing and now the whole town was covered in flyers with Maggie on it . I had been away a lot and sometimes I would just come home to see my mom. Damon had finally found Stefan, but Silas ex Tessa had fried his brain and he lost his memories.

No one had told Stefan about Maggie but we didn't think there was a point since he doesn't remember her. We had already given up looking for her, we knew Elizabeth had her and that she was working with Silas, but she had kept her head down.

"Mom?" I called out hearing my voice echo in my house.

I walked around looking in the dining room and in the sitting room. I walked into the kitchen and saw her sitting down at the counter. When she saw she had wiped her eyes as if she was crying.

"Hey, mom what's wrong?" I asked her rubbing her back.

She stayed silent and another tear left her eye. "It's her birthday today," She said while I sighed and sat down beside her. "Maggie, she's eighteen today" Her bottom lips started to shake. I could tell Maggie was like a daughter to my mom, she's only known her for a few mouth feels like forever.

"Mom don't worry we will find her, " I said rubbing her back. I didn't even believe myself. The truth was no one was looking for her expect the police and we all knew they wouldn't find her. Matt and Jeremy were on the run with Katherine, Damon and Elena were helping Stefan and obviously, Stefan had no clue he knew her.

My mother wiped her eyes and sighed as she got up and walked into the sitting room. I went upstairs and passed a door that hasn't been open for a while. I opened the door to Maggie's and saw her bed hasn't been touch since she left. I looked at her dresser and saw all her makeup and her glasses. I walked over to her bed and put my hands in my pockets while I scratched my head.

I noticed a piece of paper that was on a table beside her bed. I picked it up and unfolding the page and saw Maggie's mothers handwriting. I didn't read it all until her mother stated to talk about Maggie's father.

I read it all and quickly put the letter in my back pocket and starts to run down the stairs. I took out my phone and made a few calls and went into my car. I started to drive quickly to Damon's and Stefan's house while still on the phone. The drive took a while even when I was speeding.

I got the boarding house and parked my car and ran into the huge house. When I opened the front door and into the dark sitting room. I saw Damon with a glass of bourbon in his hand, Caroline and Elena were sitting on the couch and Matt and Jeremy were standing with their arms crossed.

"Lockwood you better have a really good reason for calling this weird meeting since we have so many enemies on our asses," Damon said making me roll my eyes.

"Read this" I took out the letter and gave it to Damon.

Everyone stood waiting for Damon responses to the letter. "No, that's impossible," He said throwing the letter on the coffee table. Matt picked up the letter and I could see his eyes scanning.

"Could someone please tell us what's going on?" Elena said raising his eyebrows.

"We know who Maggie's father is," I said while Caroline rolled her eyes.

"Why would that matter to us?" She said crossing her arms.

"Alaric was her dad," Matt said looking up from the letter.

Everybody's face went into shock and I could see Jeremy's head turn in a direction like he was seeing someone. "No that's impossible, do you think Ric would have mentioned something like that to us?" Damon argued.
