Alex's pov (first pic of Alex <no septum piercing and just nose bone>)

I woke up at 6 sharp for school. I put on black jeans and a hoodie. I put on socks and then get back in bed. I still have 30 more minutes before I actually have to be up. so I go back to sleep

my alarm goes off again. I hit the button. I get up and make my bed. not really. I put on mascara and face powder quickly. I fix my hair a bit. then put on my shoes. I grab my backpack, phone, headphones, and charger. I walk passed my moms room. she's still sleeping. she's been really ill lately. I kiss her forehead and then leave. I skate to school because is not that far. I listen to music. when I get there I throw my board in my locker and go sit outside at a table. I text my friends asking where they are. they are almost here. we have to celebrate Austin because he's moving to San Diego, California. I will miss him so much because he's my boyfriend. someone walks past me and says "Emo Shit!" I brush it off. it happens every day so why listen to them. someone covers my eyes

"Guess who?" they say.

"Austin!" I say and get up. I kiss him and hug him. we sit back down. he puts his arm around me.

"How are you today?" he says.

"Sad because you're leaving." I say and frown.

"Don't be, were only 5 hours away. I will visit you." he says and kisses my cheek.

"Okay." I say.

"How's your mom?" he asks.

"She's still sick." I say.

"Maybe she should see a doctor. hasn't she been sick for the past month?" he asks.

"Yeah." I say. the rest of our friends get here. we all talk and laugh. God I'm gonna miss Austin.

it's only 5th period and I already want to leave. but I have off this period so I sit in the cafeteria with Austin. I get a call from a random number.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hi, this is nurse Jackie from the hospital." she says.

"Is everything okay?" I ask getting worried.

"No miss, your mother is here in the ER. we would like you to come down here." she says.

"Yes ma'am." I say.

"Austin can you drive me to the hospital please?" I ask because he's the only one with a car.

"Sure thing." he says. we sprint to his car.

"Thank you so much." I say.

"Is everything okay?" he ask.

"I don't know. it's my mom." I say.

when we get to the hospital I find the nurse that called.

"Yes miss hunters?" she says.

"Is my mom okay?" I ask.

"Sit down sweetheart." I do so. "Your mother is dying of a rare cancer that has spread way too fast and will not make it." she says. I look at her. I breakdown.
