A glimmer, a glimmer of light.
I saw it. And I chased it, I ran towards it with all my might, I was so determined and gave up almost everything for it.
Then, I stopped. I lost sight of it. The initial glimmer, it's gone. It went missing.
The vicinity was in total darkness now, I couldn't see anything, nothing could be heard either. Except.. The sound of deep melancholy crawling towards my heart.. Consuming it all over again..
The glimmer, I saw it, then lost sight of it. I sacrificed my everything for it yet I lost sight of it.
