Chapter o n e

Touka's POV

I woke up from my deep sleep. I opened my eyes to the black surface I've been living with for 3 years now. I called Hinami over to help me change since I can't do that all by my self.

"Onee-chan how are you feeling today?" She asked me

I smiled "I'm better than ever."

I can feel her smile as I said that "I'm glad." She said

Nishiki dropped me off at my school before driving off .I heard some really fast foot steps coming towards me . I already guessed who it is.

"TOUKAAAAA!!" Yoriko tackled me in a hug "How was summer?" She asked

"It was okay I guess." I replied smiling

Then her enthusiasm quietened down "What about your sight?" She asked

I stayed quiet at first as I then said "They still have no way to fix it. They're trying to cure it somehow , and let me see the beautiful shades of colors and nature around me once again"."

"I'm sorry." I can sense her feeling down and I can tell that she stifled a sob.

"It's ok! At least I'm enjoying my time here! I don't have to see everything to be happy. After all , being blind is a bliss."
