Paper flowers

As the raindrops fall they tell a story,
the wind whispers to me to silent all,
The monster call my name,
50 thousand tears I've cried,
And still you won't hear me.

Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming,
I build my own world to escape the nightmare,
In my field of paper flowers,
I watch my purple sky fly over me,
I lie inside myself for hours.

Let me stay,
Erase the silence,
I dream in darkness,
So I don't what's real and what's not,
A world of nothingness, blow me away.

Maybe I'll wake up for once,
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge,
My alarm clock screaming,
I won't be broken again,
I've got to breathe- I can't keep going under.
