 ==> A Sadstuck. <==

                A young troll sat in his hive, pondering what to do. Most of his “friends” were not replying to him and no one would go flarping with him. He looked around his hive and, upon noticing that he was alone, pulled off his scarf. He sat down on a chair, a deep sigh coming from his lips. Scars lined his gray fins and neck, some of which trailed down to his collar bone.

                He pulled a knife out and looked at it solemnly, dark thoughts swirling through his mind. He had crafted this knife himself as a young grub, when he had found a broken clam and a black metal pole that a landweller had thrown into the sea. He used it as an extra weapon, when his gun was not handy.

                He raised the knife to his throat and held it there, not sure if he should go through with this. He squeezed his eyes tightly together and his grip on the knife tightened, the cold metal handle feeling alien in his hands.

                Dark thoughts had surrounded this troll for most of his life and he often found himself in the position of either harming or killing himself. Obviously, he had not yet gone through with suicide, but he always felt loneliness within him, telling him that he would never fit in. He had an angel and a devil inside him, each pushing him towards killing himself every day. The angel was positive, but it’s positive tone almost seemed washed away in the bitter sarcasm of the troll’s own being. The devil was cruel and unforgiving, criticizing his every action. He was done.

                Violet tears began to well in his eyes, but he didn’t want them to fall. He was going to do this. No one would care if he were dead anyways, except for maybe Feferi. Yet… Even she would not be able to stop him. Besides, she would be happier without him.

                With these thoughts swirling through his mind, the troll pressed the knife into his neck, the wound deeper and longer than any of the other scars. Purple blood gushed out immediately, staining the floor, and he began to grow faint from the loss of blood.

                When her moirail wouldn’t reply to her trolling, Feferi went to his hive to make sure everything was alright. However, when she stepped inside and called for him, there was no reply. She made her way to his room and saw him dead upon the floor. When she saw Eridan Ampora, she wept bitterly, as a crushed and helplessness feeling filled her.  She had failed to act as a moirail for him.
