To all the lights that vanished
On this tragic day
Because of war strife and hate
Was there no other way
To all the lights that vanished
Who were taken without reason
We still grieve for you here
On every passing season
To all the lights that vanished
They may have knocked us down
But we came back up again
Together as a nation state and town
To all the lights that vanished
You will always be in our hearts
In our minds and souls
As you have always been
