After the interview, Aaron told me I got the job. I was surprised at how fast I got the job, but I was thankful. I officially start my job tomorrow. I would've started today, but the shop is closed today.
"Hey, I was wondering... Since you will work for me. How about we get to know each other?" Aaron asked me. 'His voice is so sexy' I thought.
"Thank you" Aaron smirked.
"Did I say that out loud?" I questioned Aaron.
He nodded and started to laugh. I blushed and looked at my feet in embarrassment.
Aaron lifted my head gently with his hand. I looked at his eyes. Beautiful, was the only word to describe them. For some odd reason I felt a pull towards him.
I didn't realize I was close to him until I felt his breath fan against my face.
I closed my eyes ' Kiss me ' I thought. I waited for the kiss, but it never came. I opened my eyes to find Aaron looking at me with a guilty an regretful look in his eyes. But it was soon masked by an emotionless face.
"What's wrong?" I asked quietly.
"We can't do this." He said bluntly.
Confused and hurt I asked," Why?"
" 1) We just meet. And 2) I am engaged."
