Dreams. They are my number one fear. Why? Because they can control me, they can possess me and they can change my future. I really can't fully understand how it is possible, logically. It doesn't make any sense. None f my friends can understand it either. How can what I see in the night repeat itself in the day? It not only scares me, but my friends and family. Therefore, I keep it to myself. I don't tell people my dreams, as it affects them. With the experience, I have become very good actress. Nobody can ever guess when I'm lying. It isn't something I am proud of but it is for others good.
I am human - I need sleep, although I avoid it. Usually power naps, too short to conjure up any nightmares, will, suffice; although I fall asleep when I am too tired. I cannot sleep without worrying, as I am scared. Scared of what I will see. Scared of how it will affect my next day. My name is Emily René and I am Afraid - Afraid of dreams.
