~Angel's POV~
I groan as I hear my alarm clock go off. I groan, not wanting to go to school today, but I get up because I hear my annoying brother yelling at me to get up.
Between him and the alarm clock I'm going to go crazy.
I throw my hair into a messy bun, then I get dressed. I sigh as I slip on a shirt, then as I slip on my flip flops. Derek and I were arguing again over me dating Jackson.
I quickly eat, then I see a very familiar car pull up.
"Bye," I say to Derek.
"Be safe," he mutters.
I head out the door, then I climb into the passenger seat of Jackson's car, wanting this day to be over.
"Hi, Baby," he says.
"Hi," I mumble.
Jackson sighs, then he starts the drive to the school. I turn the radio on and the local country station is playing 'Smoke Break' by Carrie Underwood.
I sing along, smiling. Jackson listened, smiling as well. I take my hair down and run my left hand through it.
"So what's got my princess in an upset mood today," he says.
"Not now, Whittmore," I sigh.
"Cmon, Babe," he whines.
"You're such a big baby," I sigh.
The car went silent. Did I hit a nerve with him?
"Jack Jack," I ask.
"I'm fine," he says, his eyes cold now. I pull my knees to my chest after taking my flip flops off.
I sigh again, trying to get my mind off whatever it was that I was thinking.
"Ang," Jackson says.
I look over at him. Jackson finds a parking spot at the school, then he gives my left knee a squeeze.
"We'll meet at lunch okay," he says.
I nod, then I grab my purse and messenger bookbag. Jackson smiled again, then he gave me a quick kiss.
"I'll see you in English, then at lunch and hopefully practice," I say.
~time skip~
I sat in the back of my English class, Jackson sat at the very front. I listened to Ms. Blake as she taught about Romeo and Juliet. Yet in my mind I was fighting her because of what she did to Derek.
I sigh again, tapping my fingers on my desk. I hum softly as I listened to the lesson.
What can go wrong?
