Hermione goes home after the war, thinking it is all over now. But things get worse for her when she receives news that would change everything. She survived one battle, only to come home to another, and this time it may be one she won't survive.
The second of May, 1998. That was the battle of Hogwarts. The day she though it would all end.
4 months had passed.
It was August. And Hermione begged her parents to let her redo her final year at Hogwarts. She wanted to go back because there is where she made some of her best memories.
She promised herself if she did go back, then no one was allowed to know what she had been dealing with and what she was still fighting.
She didn't want their pity or their forced friendship. She didn't want to make memories with people who constantly worried about her. She wanted everything to be as it was before.
But she knew it wouldn't be the same. Because everyone had changed, but so had she. She changed the way she looked at life and has found something else other than her education to keep her going. She knew her time, and what she wanted to do with what was left.
There where things she still wanted to do.
She though she would be doing many things alone or with her friends. Never had she though she would make some of her best memories with Draco Malfoy. All because he had found out before anyone else did. And cared more than anyone else did.
He helps her more than anyone else could, showing both what the hard years had done to both young adults.
They both fight for something together,
To live past 19.
