~3rd Person~
A short red haired girl was looking out a small window, her grey-blue eyes reflecting the moving scenery as the train moved forward. She was the only one in the compartment, a comfortable silence wafting through the room. The redhead preferred to be alone, and was glad that she got lucky enough to score her own little quiet section on the train. A large suitcase and backpack sat on the seat in front of her, shifting slightly as the moving vehicle glided over different bumps and curves of the path it was taking.
She glanced down at herself, looking at the school uniform that her parents had to buy her. She wrinkled her nose, feeling uncomfortable due to the fact she had to wear this same outfit everyday during the week. In the past, she went to schools that didnt require a certain uniform, so she could mostly wear whatever she wanted. But her parents really wanted her to go to this school, so she had to take this offer, no matter the cost. The girl thought back to her home, remembering all the friends that she left behind just for the sake of this place. She sighed, wishing that she could of went to a school closer to home. She was knocked out of her thoughts when then the train suddenly stopped, almost knocking the tiny girl out of her seat.
"Asagao Academy?" One of the train conductors yelled out, and the girl stood up, slinging her backpack over her left shoulder, and holding the suitcase with her right. She lugged forward out of the compartment and the train itself, quickly thanking the conductor with a smile. She stepped off into the train station, excitement coursing through her veins as she walked towards the exit.
"Woah.." she muttered as she stepped outside, the cool air of Japan engulfing her. The sky was a light blue, with fluffy white clouds floating around at random, like white splatters on a blue canvas. The grass was a nice shade of green, and there was different trees and bushes decorating the area. She started forth on the grey bricked road heading towards a large building that was in the distance. She kept her eyes to the ground, making sure that she wouldnt be her usually clumsy self and fall over. She was walking by herself, due to the fact that she had to join the school halfway through the year, since of weird difficulties and passport issues.
After about a 10 minute walk, she was greeted with the site of a large black gate, and she bent over, panting, even though it was a short journey. "I really need to get in shape" she told herself in a quiet manner, wiping a bead of sweat off of her forehead. She walked over to one of the stone brick columns, where there was a button matching the color of the humongous gate that dwarfed the girl in size. She slowly pressed the button, and a few moments after the gate slowly opened outward, making the path that was blocked, now walkable.
She strolled forward, a nervous feeling in her stomach as she headed towards the main office, feeling the stares of other curious students, probably trying to figure out who she is, and why she came here so late. She creaked open the door to the office she managed to somehow quickly find, and walked in, a blast of warm air hitting her like a smack in the face. The lady behind the desk glanced up at her, and smiled lightly.
"Hello dear, what can I do for you?" The worker asked the girl kindly, and the girl looked back at her, trying to figure out what to say.
"I'm a new student here..." The women's eyes lit up, and quickly moved her hands to the computer that was on the side of her desk. She spent a few seconds there, then looked back up at the girl.
"What is your name?"
"Kathleen Lalonde."
