Today was Legolas's' 50th birthday so his adoptive older brothers, Elladan and Elrohir, told him they got him a very special present. Legolas was extremely excited to see what they had gotten him. He woke up that morning with a smile on his face and ran to his Ada's room, jumping up and down on his bed. "What is it that has got you so excited, little leaf?" Asked Elrond. "Today's my 50th birthday, Ada! And Elladan and Elrohir said they got me a special present, remember?" Asked Legolas excitedly. "Of course I remember, little leaf. It's just that your brothers won't be here for at least a few more hours." Replied Elrond chuckling. "Really?! I don't know if I can wait that long!" Legolas exclaimed with a sad pout. When Elrond saw his pout he said "It's ok little leaf you and I can go for a ride and that will make the time fly by." When Legolas had heard this his face lit up with excitement. He ran off to get ready for his ride with his Ada. What Legolas didn't know is that this was all a plan that Elrond and his twin sons, Elladan and Elrohir, had made together for Legolas's birthday.
