Will

It had been a while since I got back home. All the hype is starting to die down and I almost feel like a normal kid again.
we've moved in to a new house. it's not very big but I wouldn't say it's small either. It's closer to my friends, which is good because it's a shorter bike ride. I haven't been on my bike since though. I'm still scared.

"Will breakfast is ready!!!" I heard my brother say.

"okay! I'm coming" I screamed back from my room.

I ran downstairs to see that Jonathan and my mom had already finished. I guess I was thinking so much that I didn't hear them.

"Will we've been waiting on you. you have to stop sleeping so late." my mom told me

"I'm sorry mom I've just been so tired." she gave me an understanding nod.

"so, can one of you please take me to Mikes today?" I said with a mouth full of eggs

"yeah sure" Jonathan said.

I smiled at him

"I don't think so, Will"

"Mom. Why not? One of you always takes me to Mikes house."

"Will. it's the last day of summer and you haven't been on your bike since. You have got to try and get back in the swing of things. It'll only take you two minutes to get there" my mom told me

"fine" I said. I acted like I was ok with it but I really wasn't. and by the look on my mom and brother's faces I could tell they were a bit weary about it too.

"you'll be fine will." my mom said with a fake smile.

I finished eating breakfast, hopped on my bike and started going to mikes house.

I rode as fast as I could because I was just feeling nervous.

I finally got there, hopped off my bike, ran to the basement door, and got inside

"Will are you ok?" Dustin asked.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said, out of breath.
