Learning Poem #1- Self Discovery

You are a beautiful work of art.
Born from the ashes of your past,
You live with an open heart.
No need for therapy when forgiveness isn't your enemy.

You chose your beginning and your end.
You've created something anew,
Broke through the surface
When your path lead you askew.

Through and through you're a better person.
Broken hearted but you restarted,
You found beauty in your scars!
Only cried when they where fresh open wounds.

Stitched yourself back together
In the end you created something better.
And now?
Now you know who you are.
