She grew up along the coastline,
And was not like other kids in her town.
They all clicked together but,
As for Her.
She belonged with the Sea.
She took long walks alone
along the shores,
Caressing the sand between her toes,
Welcoming the burn of the sun's rays,
On her skin.
As she stopped here and there,
In hopes of finding
A broken shell.
Just like Her.
She was friends with the ocean breeze ,
And a lover to the crashing waves.
They did not care about her looks,
Or what she wore,
And never judged her
Whether She was such or poor.

They just care
That She was there...
