Caitlin's been wondering. No, it is not like her to sit and think of anything other than the law of thermodynamics and Dalton's atomic theory. She likes to indulge in the fact that she is smarter than 99% of the class – with 1% being herself and takes pride in answering every damned question asked by the professor correctly. But today, she is busy.

Preoccupied. Distracted. Diverted.

To be honest, Caitlin finds it scary. It has been a long time since someone has piqued her interest. How come has she never noticed him before?

Pistachio green eyes, brown eyes and a smile that could power seven hundred suns, she is pretty sure that this person holds the universal secret to look so dang attractive without even trying. She studies his side profile in awe.

But Caitlin is agitated. She is annoyed and peeved. The said person is not just good-looking but is ranked one of the most wanted heartthrobs in her high school and Caitlin is so hell-bent on finding his secret of how he could graciously score the highest marks in class (second after her) and also, manages to secure a top spot on the social hierarchy (while she struggles at the bottom).

Oh, Caitlin is sooo hell-bent.
