If all the world was colors,
Everyone a different color,
Then I would wish to be colorblind.

In this world,
The world of colors,
The people all have their spot on the rainbow.

Some are yellow,
Some are blue,
Some are green,
Some are red,
And some are white or black,
And everyone has their color.

And you, you have your color,
And you stay with your color,
And only your color.
Everyone, only with their color.

Yellow doesn't mingle with green.
Green doesn't mingle with blue.
And blue certainly doesn't mingle with red,
Because God forbid we make purple.

But what happens when the sun shines just a little differently
Through the raindrop after a storm?
Well, we might just make orange, or pink,
Or (dare I say it) purple.

Yes the colors all mix,
They twist and combine
And form a new line
Of colors.

A new rainbow to stretch across the sky.
A new palate to paint your walls.
Anew.

A new world of colors.
Then, might I be thankful for my vision of these colors.
These beautiful crayola crayon box of colors.
Instead of wishing for this vision of these colors to be blind.
